Cisco Mapping Software?

Postby Ryan » Wed Jul 29, 2009 2:18 pm

I'm looking for some software to help map out my networks, and Visio just isn't getting the job done for me.

I seem to remember some software a few years ago that allowed you to specify devices, and label port numbers and the like.

I'm not looking for something to actually manage the devices, I just need something for documentation.

Does anyone have anything in their toolbox?

I could have swore that there was a free one from Cisco. I am looking but I don't see it yet.
I got a message for all of 'em. Shake... and bake.

Cisco Network Assistant is their primary focus. However, this software will push out changes you make in the software to the devices.

That's a situation I want to stay as far away from as possible. :)
